Educational Use & Student Privacy
LBB welcomes educator feedback and adult-supervised classroom exploration.
Who LBB is designed for
LBB is currently designed for adult users and educator-led evaluation. Student accounts for children under 13 are not presently offered. Pilot Zero is not presently offered as a school student-record system.
What educators should not ask students to paste
- names or identifiers
- grades
- education records
- medical information
- disciplinary records
- private student work tied to identity
- other protected or confidential information
For now, classroom modules should use public, fictional, teacher-created, or de-identified examples.
Institutional use
Schools or districts considering institutional use should contact LBB before connecting student accounts or education records.
Why this matters
Children’s online services can implicate COPPA, and ed-tech vendors handling student personal information can implicate FERPA and student-record requirements. LBB has not built the student-privacy architecture that would be required to hold such material.
